This is a very hard post to write, but I’m doing what I believe is best for both of us.
I’m looking to rehome my 2-year-old Labradoodle, who is full of life, energy, and personality—but needs a home that can better meet his needs.
He’s:
• Loyal, affectionate, and loves being around his person
• High-energy and thrives with structure and stimulation
• Strong on the lead and can be reactive on walks—he needs an experienced, confident handler who can give him consistency and boundaries
• Best suited to an adult-only home with no other pets
• Fully house-trained and up to date on all vet checks and vaccinations
This dog is not a fit for a first-time owner. He will flourish with someone who understands working breeds/high-energy dogs and can give him a job to do. I’ve tried training, tools, and routines, and while he’s made progress, it’s clear he needs a different environment to truly thrive.
