Unfortunately we need to part ways as we got him as a gift and our garden and house is small for this breed that can get 45kg, we don’t have the resources to play and walk him as he needs to and cannot bond with our 3 years old bichon frise. The other is moody as is older, our husky would love to play with him. Outside he shows friendly behaviour around dogs. Playfully and friendly . We have him from November. Potty trained and crate trained. Can be left at home on his own as he doesn’t have separation anxiety. Needs to go to a family happy to walk him at least an hr daily, to have a large garden to play and have time to spend with him. He needs professional training as is pulling on lead and becomes playful. He can have rice with liver, honey made. He is stomach sensitive currently on dry food only as has loose stools if other food such as wet food or fruits are given. His food is orijen large breed puppy that on repeat order costs £85 that lasts him for a month. He goes once a month at grooming that is around £35, he is shedding a lot as huskies do all over the year. His dad is a thai ridgeback, his breeder choose this as he believes this match will slow down the Huskey’s energy. Husky’s are very active. We stopped giving him chews as became very possessive and can get aggressive if he believes someone is attempting to take it, can stay on guard around his crate making sure no one is taking it . We offer only treats that he can eat in one go to avoid the behaviour. He is loving and caring, loves cuddles but is trained to sleep in his crate at night. He is ok and sleeps during the day a few hrs in his crate. His positivity around food needs addressing with a behaviourist as he growls and he can get aggressive. He is not bothered on food as the other dog will go and eat from his bowl without problem but we never attempted considering his behaviour around chews. He bit me once not bad but became very aggressive . Since we stopped his chews we never had issues but this matter needs attention. Being just a puppy I believe his behaviour can be corrected with proper training around his chews.
