Our little poppet Belle (Merle toy Yorkshire terrier) weighing in at 3kg gave birth on Sunday 23.2.25 to four fabulous little pups -
š One Merle boy āGus Gusā was first born weighing 210g This little chap has white flecks and white toes so carries the particolour genes
š©· One super special particoloured Piebald Merle x Biewer girl āSandyā . This little lady is a genetic throwback from paternal grandfather - a Biewer terrier. Second born arriving at 206g The little white V on her head is just crying out to become a Mohawk in adulthood.
š©· One black and gold tiny tiny girl āIrisā was third born. Weighing only 180g she really is a precious little dot sure to take after her 2.5kg father. She will break blue when in adolescence as yorkies of good breeding do.
š©· One blue and gold girl āMouseā with white piebald marking to chest was last to arrive weighing in at 212g She will also break blue and appear silver in adolescence.
Dad is a blue and gold tiny 2.5kg toy terrier with recessive Biewer genetics. Both dogs are our family pets who have been raised in a busy household of children young and old. Very sociable and incredibly affectionate they are the epitome of what a Yorkie lap dog should be ā¤ļø
This was a carefully considered litter brought into the world with no expense spared. I feed my dogs Orijen small breed so this is what the pups will be reared onto as I believe the whole prey diet is of huge benefit to their tiny stature.
Pups are able to be reserved now following their first vet check completed this past week. All are gaining between 30-75g per day at this stage so I would anticipate them being 2-3kg dogs at maturity. They will come having had a third full vet check, their microchips, first vaccinations and having been fully wormed at 2,4, 6 and 8 weeks prior to collection.
