🐾 Personality and Temperament:
Xavier is a clever and inquisitive dog, who has blossomed since being in foster care. Initially nervous and anxious, especially about returning to confined spaces, he has shown remarkable adaptability and now thrives in a home environment. Xavier enjoys the comfort of sofas and is very affectionate, offering cheeky and playful interactions with his foster siblings. While he can be a bit overenthusiastic at times - occasionally trying to mark over other dogs - he is also respectful and learns boundaries quickly.
🐾 Behaviour and Training:
Xavier walks nicely on lead and has shown great intelligence and eagerness to interact with both humans and dogs. He may bark at other dogs if they do not interact with him, but he is generally well-behaved and sociable. His foster experience indicates he could potentially be an only dog, provided he has regular interaction with other dogs and someone present for most of the day.
🐾 Daily Life and Activities:
Xavier has fully integrated into his foster home, showing a love for walks and a keen interest in his surroundings. He enjoys people-watching and displays confidence and curiosity about new sights and sounds. After walks, he settles down well and is always ready for cuddles.
🐾 Ideal Home:
Xavier would do best in a home where he can receive plenty of attention and interaction. His need for human companionship and his sociability with other dogs make him a versatile addition to many types of households. His foster family describes him as beautifully natured, with the ability to charm everyone he meets with his stunning looks and amazing eyes. Xavier does not enjoy being crated or confined behind baby gates and will thoughtfully help to make his way to the other side. However, once where he wishes to be, he is calm and relaxed.

All of our dogs have an international passport (unless born in the UK) and are microchipped. They are fully vaccinated for standard diseases as well as rabies and kennel cough. All dogs are blood tested for infectious diseases including Leishmaniasis, Dirofilaria, Ehrlichia, Babesia, Anaplasma, Lyme and Brucella. All dogs, unless there are medical or behavioural reasons to not do so, will be sterilised. Xavier has been neutered. Please note that we will advise results and treatments upon successful application.
Adoption contract and fee, homecheck and lifetime RBU (rescue back-up) apply as standard.
