Roy is a big, rough coated pure bred border collie. He has a brilliant nature and is always happy to see everyone, people, children, other dogs, brilliant with livestock, huge softie and loves a cuddle. Roy is a proper all rounder and is used to busy environments, we go on buses/trains/car/ been to cities all over and even the fringe festival, he always behaves himself and is a great pub dog, loves going to the beach, camping trips and exploring on big hikes with us and of course playing with his dog friends and his toys. No neorotic collie behaviours, he just takes it all in his stride. Roy is incredibly versatile and is also a working sheepdog dog as well as a pet. He will happily work all day at my parents farm and do anything asked of him, but has a great off switch as well and just wants to please you. He's very smart and learns things quickly with typical collie trainability. I do all sorts with him, lots of obedience as he is like a sponge, he even models for a dog life drawing class sometimes! He is calm in the house, I dont have to keep him entertained at all hours, he's just a super easy going, friendly boy. I bred Roy myself and I have his mum, Peggy who is my service dog and also works sheep. He comes from a long line of working border collies on both sides and his dad is ISDS/KC registered red and white dog Cranbeck Marley. You are getting a great balance of working ability and pet suitability.

All health tests are clear, happy to show these on request, he is a carrier for cia (collie eye anomaly) which doesn't effect him or any pups, but does mean he will have to go to bitches who are health tested and clear and with good temperaments only, most breeds welcome, no merles or cryptic merles as this can lead to double merle puppies.
