🐶 MILA is a small in height but sturdy, happy girl, short-paw Dachshund cross with unique “owl” eyes and an irresistible smile. She is about 8 months old now, around Corgi size. She arrived in the UK from war-torn Ukraine on 10th of January, but heartbreakingly, she now urgently needs a new foster or Foster-to-adopt home.
🐶 MILA has lived with other dogs before arrival and in a home in UK with two resident dogs for the past four weeks, but a sudden conflict with their senior 10-years old resident dog force them to return Mil 💔😢. She needs a safe place to go. Her family is heartbroken but can no longer keep her. She has nowhere to go.

💔 RESCUE STORY 💔
🐶 MILA’s life started with heartbreak. She and her sibling were cruelly thrown into a private yard at just 3 months old. The family who found them threatened to drown them unless the rescue came immediately. Volunteers rushed to save them, but it was too late for MILA’s sibling – given away to live on a chain, never to be found.
🐾 MILA was saved, hoping for a bright future, but now she is facing heartbreak again.
🐶 ABOUT MILA – SWEET, SMART, AND A HUGE HUMAN LOVER 🐶
MILA is an affectionate, playful little girl who adores people and loves cuddles. She is very social and adores all people. She was always very friendly with all dogs, but due to a recent issue with a senior dog, we think if there will be the other dog, it should be confident, friendly and playful male companion.

🐾 "Mila is a loving, playful 8-month-old crossbreed. She is Corgi-sized and hasn’t been neutered yet. She has lived with two whippets in the UK for almost 4 weeks. She walks nicely on a harness and has learned some commands such as sit, paw, down, leave/wait.
🐾 She is house-trained and scratches at the door to ask to go out. She jumps up to greet people sometimes and is learning to be calmer.
🐾 Her recall is improving. She loves to chase a ball but doesn’t bring it back.
🐾 She is very food-motivated, making training easier. She tends to gobble her meals, so a slow-feeder bowl would help.
🐾 She loves to cuddle up on the settee, settles well in cafés, and sits nicely under the table.
🐾 She sleeps all night from about 9:30 pm to 7 am. She is friendly with all people she meets and doesn’t react to other dogs when out walking."
