Swifty is a gorgeous, healthy, chilled, ex racing brindle greyhound who came to us 15 months ago from a racing kennels.
He gets on well with other dogs (is our only dog but he has spent time and overnights with other dogs), walks brilliantly on a lead, is chilled, sleeps a lot in the day, no issues being left for a few hours. He has a very gentle laid back temperament. An absolute big softy. Since coming to us we haven't walked him off lead unless in an enclosed dog field.
We are looking to rehome as swifty, like many greyhounds, has a strong sleep startle reflex and this has become an issue with young children/ child with additional needs in the house. For this reason he needs to find a home without young children and with people and owners who understand this.
Beyond this issue there has never been any behaviour issues, and he is a lovely loving dog, who very much adores pets and affection from people. He made the transition from kennels to hone life well. And quickly settled with us.
Swifty is already microchiped and had his vaccinations when we got him. He is neutered. We have his vaccination card and also ex racing details. Owner transfer was completed with the greyhound board.
