Flo is a typical cocker spaniel at 3 years old very energetic and so loving. Flo is fully vaccinated up to date and microchipped.
She’s orange roan coloured and absolutely stunning.
She had her tail docked by the vets at 18 months old due to her having happy tail (recommended by the vets)
Flo absolutely loves attention and cuddles. I’m going to be completely honest in this post as I want her to go to correct family for life.
She knows how to sit, lie down, get in her bed/ crate (when she was a pup), come she’s a very intelligent dog. Use to come with me when I rode my horse very good company.
She is a very loyal dog. She is scared of unknown people in her own home. She’s fine with new people on walks happy to say hello etc just in her house she will hide, go to her bed or her safe place (usually with me) if anyone enters she doesn’t recognise.
It doesn’t take her long to warm and fall in love with new people as we know from having family stay while we have been away or having friends around.
I’m having to rehome her, this is truely breaking my heart and I hate to do it but it’s for her own good she doesn’t know if I’m coming or going at the moment and It’s not fair on her, I don’t have the time for her now that she needs since circumstances have changed, I have my son who has a heart condition and has had a lot of time in hospital recently for long stays.
She needs a family who can love her and be there for her and at the moment I can’t.
She does pee when she’s nervous, scared or excited.
She’s great off lead, chases a ball/toy returns it. Barks for you to re throw it. She does pull on lead so we have always used a figure of 8 lead that goes up and over her nose this helps that a lot.
She does chew up dog beds so she has blankets in her bed instead. She gets groomed every eight weeks and I get her clipped short (personal preference)
She is truely a big baby loves snuggles and to be close to me. She had her last season in dec and hasn’t been spayed.
I have no papers for her, she came from a breeder in York. Her mum was a pet cocker spaniel and her dad was a working cocker spaniel. She has been around my son since he was 2 and she loves him to pieces.
No food aggression shown, she’s fine with other dogs she meets with.
She’s given flea and worming treatment regularly (from my vets).
Feel free to ask any question at all nothings a problem, I’m not in a rush to get rid of her she will only be going to the correct people. Price is to ensure she doesn’t just go to anyone this can be discussed.
