On the 17th of January, our beautiful pedigree Maine coon queen blessed us with two little fluff balls. Dad is our pedigree ragdoll and was castrated long before the kittens were born so has been able to be amongst them from day one. He has the most placid nature and has been very maternal towards the kittens, perhaps even more so then mam. Mam, Shanti, is also exceptionally affectionate and would gladly have your attention all day every day if given the chance. Both Mam and Dad arnt yet fully mature but are already big cats, and kittens will be also. Both kittens are female and look very similar, though one is slightly bigger than the other. They have inherited Mam‘s colouring and markings. They have her large ears also. They’ve got Dad‘s playful personality however. The smaller of the two is more mischievous and is eager to explore. She’s forever looking for more new adventures. The bigger one is a little more reserved and quiet but more affectionate and inclined to be a lap cat. She sleeps on my feet every night. As well as being big cats, they’re also gonna have long thick fur and will need brushed regularly to keep their coat healthy and tat free. We’ve already started doing this to get them used to it. As well as Mam and Dad we also have another Maine coon female, and dogs, so the kittens are well used to other pets. They have been weaned onto blink dry food and a mixture of blink and whiskers wet food. They are brilliant at using the litter tray and are used to covered trays on breeders select cat litter. They are up-to-date with worming and they’ve also been vet checked and micro chipped. Our cats are indoor cats due to their breed, distinctive markings, and general danger the outside world holds for cats these days, and we would prefer the kittens went to indoor homes also. they will be ready for their forever homes on the 14th of March when they are eight weeks old. Both kittens are truly amazing and deserve the very best family to love them. 🩷🩷
