But everything changed when a new director took over and ordered that the dogs be removed immediately. They were suddenly unwanted, with nowhere to go. Thankfully, volunteers stepped in just in time, saving RUSITA from an uncertain and heartbreaking fate. Now, she is waiting for a family who will give her the security and love she longs for.

πΆ RUSITA is a sweet and gentle girl who deeply craves human companionship. She is not demanding but will always find a way to be close, happily resting by your feet, no matter where you are. She is calm, and well-mannered, making her an ideal companion for someone who values quiet, devoted company.
πΆ Though she is affectionate, RUSITA can be shy when first introduced to new environments. She needs time and patience to decompress, but once she trusts, she blossoms into an affectionate and loyal companion. She enjoys long walks, and while she has learned to play with toys, she can be a little reluctant to share them.
πΆ RUSITA is friendly with other dogs and would benefit from having a calm, confident canine companion to help her feel secure. She has not been tested with cats.
