Meet Hades – A Loving, Energetic Companion in Need of a New Home
It is with a heavy heart that I am looking to rehome my beloved dog, Hades. He is a nearly 2-year-old (turning 2 in July) Golden Retriever X (Akita X Staffy) with a wonderful personality. Unfortunately, due to personal circumstances and mobility issues, I am unable to provide him with the exercise and lifestyle he needs, and I have to move somewhere that won’t allow me to take him with me. This is a very difficult decision, as I truly love him and want to ensure he finds the perfect home.

🐾 Temperament: Extremely friendly, loving, and playful
🐾 Aggression: None – no possessiveness or aggression, including around food
🐾 Eating Habits: Eats well and isn’t fussy with food
🐾 Favorite Activities: Loves to play tug of war and chase his ball, though he does tend to destroy his toys
🐾 Children: He is okay with kids, though some may find his energy a bit overwhelming
🐾 Other Animals: Limited exposure to other dogs and cats, but he has shown curiosity rather than aggression
🐾 Training Needs: Hades is obedient and follows simple commands, but he can get easily distracted, especially when excited. He does jump up when excited and mouths when playing (not aggressively, just playfully), so he would benefit from ongoing training.
What Hades Needs in a Home
Hades is a high-energy dog who needs someone who can provide him with plenty of exercise and mental stimulation. He thrives on love, attention, and adventure. An active individual, couple, or family with time to dedicate to training and outdoor activities would be ideal.
