Meet Anubis – our incredible 4 year-old Belgian Malinois.
He’s not just a stunning example of the breed, he’s also a therapy dog with the gentlest nature. Because of the work I do we decided not to do any bite work with him and train him instead to work along side me.
He has been assisting me working in a holistic healing centre working 1to1 and in groups with people and he is absolutely incredible at helping people relax and work through very difficult emotions.
However he comes from working lines and is very protective of my home and family and could definitely turn his paw to bite work if we encouraged him to.
Anubis is amazing with children, cats and other animals, making him a total joy to have around.
He’s highly intelligent, beautifully trained and eager to please.
He’s large for a Malinois and weighs about 42kgs.
Health-wise, he’s in top condition with excellent hip and elbow X-rays. We’re looking to offer his stud services to a responsible breeder who is as passionate about quality temperament, health and working potential as we are.
We are only looking for him to sire one litter and we are hoping to find a Malinois or straight backed German shepherd bitch with as wonderful a nature, clean hips and elbows. He is as yet unproven but I’m certain he will get the job done. As an exchange we would like the pick of the litter and we would definitely be able to help find quality homes for some of the pups as my clients adore Anubis.
Based in Somerset, but happy to travel within 100mile radius.
