Pedro is a lovely quiet boy who is used to being around lots of dog, something quite normal with hunting dogs. However, he doesn't really enjoy their company until he knows them well, and if they approach him too quickly or if there is too much going on around him, he will submit and start vocalising until a human intervenes. The likelihood is that he has been attacked by other dogs, either when hunting or when on the streets. Pedro would do well as an only dog or with a quiet resident dog, ideally a female. Pedro is a Brittany (also called Bretons) and was a working dog - please research the breed-specific needs of the Breton/Brittany before applying. Pedro was found wandering around an industrial estate looking for food, perhaps abandoned by a hunter or lost after a hunt. Pedro had no microchip and so was quickly admitted into our care.

All of our dogs have an international passport (unless born in the UK) and are microchipped. They are fully vaccinated for standard diseases as well as rabies and kennel cough. All dogs are blood tested for infectious diseases including Leishmaniasis, Dirofilaria, Ehrlichia, Babesia, Anaplasma, Lyme and Brucella. All dogs, unless there are medical or behavioural reasons to not do so, will be sterilised. Pedro is neutered. Please note that we will advise results and treatments upon successful application.
