Description

Preferably rehomed together to make it easier on them so that can adjust, but will consider separately for the right home. It’s with such a heavy heart that we have to rehome our boys due to ill health and recently having a baby. Buster (beagle cross) has been my baby since 8 weeks old, he will be 4 in August. Arlo (Cockapoo) has been with us since 12 weeks and will be 3 in September. Buster loves nothing more than to sunbathe, he lays by the window all day absorbing the heat from the sun. He loves a cuddle and often mistakes himself for a lab dog. He is 25kg so is a heavy boy, we use a figure 8 lead to walk him as he can pull when on a harness. He is crossed with various scent breeds so spends the whole walk with his nose to the ground… this does tire him out! Arlo is the most cuddly dog you will meet. He was ‘rescued’ from a not so nice breeder. Because of this and his breed he can be nervous. This is something we’ve been working on however he does still struggle with new people (he will bark and shy away). He has never shown aggression and he often calms down and will let people pet him if he is held. He is crate trained both in the car and in the house. He responds to the command ‘bedtime’ which means he will go to his crate. He can be left alone for up to 8 hours and is use to that since we’ve been working (we do walk him before). Both boys love snuggling up together however they also enjoy their space. They can get jealous and push each other out of the way so they can get the strokes or cuddles. They have both been absolutely fine around our 4 month old and they have watched her grow up. They are trained not to be on the sofa and haven’t broken that. They are toilet trained, but do have occasional accidents.. usually if they aren’t heard wining at the back door. They tap or wine at the back door to signal they need the toilet, they sit, lay, ‘speak’, paw, stay, high five and jump. They are fine around other dogs, they are use to being at our dog boarders house (she has a female dog and a male dog) they have also been around her cats and reptiles.
