This is Wolf.
Wolf was the runt of the litter from our first hatch. He was the last to arrive and came out very small, very soggy, but very cute. He won our hearts immediately.
Since then, he's grown into the big, gorgeous boy you see before you. He'll be 1 on the 17th May, and has recently become the proud Dad of our three most recent chicks.
It hasn't been completely smooth sailing for Wolf though. A month or so ago, we had to move out one of our hens for being a bit too nibbly with the whole flock. She'd been named 'Pecker' since birth, quite appropriately, so we really should have seen it coming! Because of her nibbly ways, Wolf does have a large circular patch where his feathers have been plucked. He's no less wonderful, and his feathers are beginning to grow back, but we want to make sure any interest gets the full picture right from the start!
So, why do we need to move Wolf on?
He's a rooster and he crows. Not a problem for us but it has become a problem for the neighbours. Before it reaches a point where Wolf has to be gotten rid of 'immediately', we want to find him the wonderful new home that he deserves.
Wolf has also been wearing a crow collar in a bid to appease but unfortunately, to no avail.
