We came across Pixie on our last visit to Romania. We visited our dogs at a shelter outside of Bucharest. Pixie had been at the shelter for some time. She was not one of our dogs but she looked so scared at the back of her cage we had to take her under our care.
Pixie is now in foster in Leicestershire.
Pixie just keeps getting overlooked.😢. She came to her foster home in January this year and has very little interest. Although her passport reads she is 3 and a half years old we believe, as does her vet that she is closer to 6 years of age. Her teeth were in very bad condition so sadly she had to have them all removed. But this does not stop her from eating 😊

Pixie has been with us for just shy of 9 months now. She has become a model dog. She loves going on walks and zooming around off the lead, with excellent recall. She's fully house trained and at night curls up to sleep on the floor next to our bed, where she stays until morning. She loves her food and having no teeth doesn't stop her! She is really good with other dogs, guinea pigs, rabbits, chickens and children. She is fine being left home alone with our other dogs but equally loves curling up with the family in the evenings. We have also had the pleasure of her company on our family holidays. She travels well and loves the beach.
She is a pleasure to have and no trouble at all.
We have no doubt that she's a lovely companion and whoever adopts her will be very fortunate.

Please note, we are unable to consider for adoption for Pixie to: People with children under 8 years old People under 25 years old Homes without direct access to a private and secure garden Homes where the dog will have to be left alone more than 4 hours.
