Roland is a 4 year old Border Terrier cross Jagdterrier. He would like an adult only home (or one with older dog-savvy teens), but loves other dogs and has lived with a house rabbit.
Sadly, Roland was surrendered because he could not cope with living with a toddler. He is now living in kennels, and so we want to ensure that this is only a temporary set-up for him.
Roland loves his walks, playing and being active. He'd spend all day in the garden playing with a ball if he could! He is good on the lead and has great recall off the lead.
He is house trained and good in the home, but likes his own space in the evening when he's tired. Roland prefers to be left alone to sleep, and will have a grumble of disturbed.
In all, he has quite a lot of typical terrier traits; lovable, quirky and fun to be around! He's not really a snuggly dog, but he is loyal and enjoys being active with his humans.
