Patch is 7 years old and has always lived in outdoor kennels on a farm. He was meant to be a worker but never really accepted that role - due to his lovely nature I persevered and kept trying him. Nowadays, he's not getting the chance to get out often enough so I've decided to try and find a fresh home for him.
He can be very strong-willed so really needs an experienced owner - despite his age he doesn't have a perfect recall - normally quite good until he realises he's heading back to his kennel. Nor is he overly used to walking on a lead but has done it. I think he'd also be better suited as an only dog - he isn't bad with others but doesn't mind the occasional scuffle.
He was vaccinated as a pup but not since so would need that brought up to date.
Edited to add: Patch had a developmental issue with his front legs as a young pup which, although it resolved itself, has left him with a slight "turn in" on his lower front legs. It hasn't appeared to affect him physically in anyway since he was a year old.
As I always do, I would happily take him back if he didn't settle for any reason whatsoever.
