Who would love to adopt this sweet older girl?
When Deirdre first arrived at the shelter with her little friend, she was very anxious however she has really come out of her shell, playing with all of the dogs and being the first to run out into the paddock.
For an older dog, she is still quite active but after her initial run, she then settles down to walk and sniff. Deirdre would need regular walks but they don't need to be too long.
Deirdre is very affectionate with people and is good with children.
She is the only dog that Charlie will allow to eat with him which says a lot about her character. She really is a sweetheart!
IDEAL HOME:
We think that she would suit a home very well and would love a life of comfort although she would also sign up whenever there's a walk on offer!
Deirdre could be an only dog as long as she has adequate canine interaction outside of the home.

Deirdre was rescued from the local pound.

All of our dogs have an international passport (unless born in the UK) and are microchipped. They are fully vaccinated for standard diseases as well as rabies and kennel cough. All dogs are blood tested for infectious diseases including Leishmaniasis, Dirofilaria, Ehrlichia, Babesia, Anaplasma, Lyme and Brucella. All dogs, unless there are medical or behavioural reasons to not do so, will be sterilised. Deirdre is spayed. Please note that we will advise results and treatments upon successful application.
Adoption contract and fee, homecheck and lifetime RBU (rescue back-up) apply as standard.
