Zuko is a one year old Doberman who I rescued just 2 months ago from an abusive home. He is fantastic with small children, other dogs and recall is 90% there. Sit, down, heel and middle on command. I never planned on keeping him I just wanted him to get out of his previous home due to being hit from former owner. I have spent the last 2 months working him through his fear of men, he’s still slightly hesitant over large males walking towards him and will cower and hide behind you but he’s getting better and better.
I would love to keep him as would my son as they are best of friends but as I work full time I can’t give him the love and time he deserves. I enjoy rescuing dogs and training them to a standard for them to find their forever homes. He’s now ready to move on so I can rescue another dog and start again.
He loves to go on his walks but then loves nothing more than a cuddle on the sofa.
Ideally needs a loving home with people that are around a lot and won’t be leaving him for hours on end as he is such a cuddle bug. Only want him to go to a good home, I won’t just let him go to anyone.
American line Doberman, slimmer build than the European line.
Price is high as don’t want just anyone buying him. Very very negotiable if you’re the right person. Any fee taken will be put towards my next rescue dog.
