Meet NUGGET, a lively and intelligent low medium-sized around 4 years old boy who’s ready for a new chapter. He was originally adopted some time ago but has sadly found himself in need of a new home after his family moved abroad. He recently went to a new foster-to-adopt home, but unfortunately it didn’t work out—not because of anything wrong with Nugget, but simply because he wasn’t the right match for their home setup.
Now urgently in need of a foster, Nugget is hoping for a second chance—with someone who’ll give him the time, patience, and love he deserves.

His need for stimulation, consistency, and gentle guidance couldn’t be met in that setting—and now he urgently needs a new home where he can thrive.
🐶 Detailed Information
NUGGET is clever, loving, and eager to be involved in everything you're doing. He loves his walks, enjoys fetch and tug-of-war, and will happily follow you around the house. He’s not a lap dog, but he is a devoted companion who thrives on gentle engagement.
He loves dog company—especially other friendly females—but is missing that interaction at the moment. His enthusiasm with new dogs needs a bit of managing, but he’s not aggressive—just overexcited and social.
He’s fully house-trained and behaves beautifully indoors. He can be left for a few hours and will calmly await your return. On walks, he knows how to walk to heel on command (“close”) and is working on not pulling when alongside other dogs. He is food motivated, responsive, and very trainable.
Like many clever dogs, he can be a bit anxious, especially with unfamiliar people. He may lower his head or tuck his tail at first, and sometimes guards items when unsure. He’s not fond of baths or vet muzzles—but with kindness and understanding, he gives his trust deeply and loyally.

NUGGET is looking for an active, dog-savvy home where he’ll be part of the adventure. He’d thrive with another friendly dog, especially a female, or could be happy as the only pet in a calm but engaging environment.
Because he needs his space respected, no young children please—but calm teenagers or older would be fine. A home with time for training, walks, fun games and thoughtful introductions will see Nugget flourish into an exceptional companion.
