Hi, we acquired 3 male guinea pigs from someone that could no longer care for them. I’ve never actually wanted them as pets I just felt bad for them but we don’t feel we have the time to fully interact with them and it’s best to rehome them with someone who can give them the best life.
I believe they are around a year old and are all brothers, they were originally all in one indoor cage but I soon realised one was picking on the other two so on advice, I separated the one with the white stripe down his face into a separate indoor cage. The cages are next to each other so they can still see eachother without the fighting.
I’d like both cages with the three pigs to go together, but I understand this takes up a lot of space so am prepared to separate them also.
The two in the photos together are a bonded pair and will not be separated.
Please note Guinea pigs need space to forage and run so a garden or large secure area will be needed for plenty of exercise as these indoor cages are not suitable to house them 24/7
