Luigi was rescued from a terrible start in his life , he was being beaten and locked away in his home in Granada , southern Spain . Our small rescue treated him and found him a safe place to stay with a lovely foster couple who looked after him and loved him .
He arrived in the U.K. four weeks ago to start a new life with Phil in London and his other Spanish rescue cat who’d just lost his friend due to kidney failure , Phil thought it would be great for him to have feline company . However unfortunately things haven’t gone according to plan .
Luigi we think is a little younger than two yrs old as his behaviour is very kitten like , he just wants to play all of the time and Moko being an older cat of 11 is not enjoying this boisterous activity . Whilst they have periods of harmony all of a sudden Luigi will just jump on Moko to instigate play and it’s not appreciated . So sadly the hard decision ( for Phil….because he loves Luigi ) is that Luigi needs to find a new home .
He’s a great character , very friendly although there are a couple of areas that he doesn’t like you touching , so I think ideally a home without young children . He needs outside space to roam around and play in , so somewhere not near a busy main road . He’s currently in London , but Phil will travel for the perfect home . The adoption fee is more of a gesture as his fees have been covered to transport him here , but we do not give animals away and all homes must be vetted for suitability .
