SCARLETT is a 8-month-old small-sized girl bursting with energy, affection, and curiosity. Chihuahua cross. She arrived in the UK in January, but unfortunately, despite her new family's best hopes, their home environment isn’t the right match for her. Now, she’s searching for a home where she can truly settle and flourish.

" Scarlett is an affectionate, cheeky little pup that absolutely thrives on human attention. She loves to be around her people and has a lot of love to give. She’s very clever and curious and loves to explore every corner of the house, but has a particular habit of hoarding socks, earning her the nickname of sock-gremlin in our house. She doesn’t destroy them, just likes to hide them for you to find! She’s is however your typical chewy puppy in general and needs things to chew or play with to keep her mind occupied.
She loves a little nook to get comfy and sleep under, whether it be under a bed, a chair or a coffee table - she would love a blanket under any of these.
She would benefit from being either with a confident and playful dog that will be able to hold firmly against her slight bossy behaviours, or be an only dog so she can soak up all the attention. However it is worth noting that she can be a bit timid on walks and when meeting new people, so living with a confident dog that can help with her confidence would likely be best. She also is not a huge fan of traffic, so would be best in a quieter town, village or rural area - not a busy inner-city environment. The outskirts of a city may be ok if it is away from busy roads and lots of traffic."
Rescue Story
SCARLETT’s life almost ended before it even began. She and her sisters were born into a harsh industrial park, where their abandoned mother fought to keep them safe. For weeks, a kind worker secretly fed them, but when the site’s director ordered them to be put down, their time was running out.
Volunteers arrived just five minutes before it was too late—syringes were ready. In a miracle of timing, SCARLETT and her sisters were scooped into loving arms instead of facing a tragic fate. Now, after months of safety and love, she is ready for a forever home that will cherish her lively spirit.
Detailed Information
SCARLETT is a bright, adventurous, and affectionate little girl. She is playful, full of personality, and loves being part of the action. She enjoys running, playing, and exploring, but she also loves curling up with her human for cuddles.
She is very social with other dogs but does best with a playful confident companion or as an only dog, as she can sometimes be a little too confident and bossy with other dogs. She enjoys the company of cats and is friendly with children, though dog-savvy kids 6+ would be the best match for her playful energy.
Her biggest challenge now is traffic noise—she finds loud streets overwhelming and struggles to relax in a busy environment. She needs a home in a quieter area, where she can feel safe and confident.
Ideal Family
SCARLETT needs an active and loving home, ideally with another friendly confident dog to play with. She would do well with a family who enjoys training and interactive games, as she is a clever girl eager to learn. A home with a secure garden for zoomies would be ideal. She thrives on human affection and companionship, so a family who can give her plenty of love would be perfect.
