I have made the difficult decision of rehoming my 3 female guinea pigs due to a change of circumstances, this has not been an easy decision and they will only go to the best home possible for them.
My 3 indoor guinea pigs (all female)
Are 7 & 6 months old.
The fluffy one (Polly) is a lunkarya guinea pig
The black one (Suzy) is an Abyssinian
The brown & black (Poppy) is an Abyssinian
Polly (fluffy) is a real character, she is very vocal at meal times, hops on the houses and squeaks with excitement over her veggies.
She loves food! She often runs around the cage in pure excitement and jumps in the air. She is a very friendly girl, she is very curious and loves to explore.
Suzy (black) is a more shy girl. She was rescued with her sister and still needs extra time to really come out of her shell. She loves to hide, loves her veggies and is the boss of the group. She will tolerate cuddles if you bribe her with lettuce!
Poppy (brown and black) is a lovely little piggie, although shy, she loves a cuddle and has really gained confidence since we rescued her. She still has a little way to go, but she is getting there slowly. She is the most chilled out of the group. And enjoys nothing more than a cuddle, tickles and a slice of cucumber!
The pigs come with:
6x2 C&C cage - Which is customisable, and still has 1 box of spare grids.
1x fleece liner
All their mats
3x wooden houses
5x tunnels
1x water bottle
1x snuggle bed
1 x litter box (hay box)
90 ish puppy pads (for lining litter box)
All the food I have which is currently:
Nuggets
Forage
Hay
They are inside guinea pigs and I’d like it to continue that way in their new home.
The minimum their cage can be is 4x2 but with extra space they are MUCH happier so please bare this in mind.
They need fresh hay 24/7 as they are grazing animals and their digestive system needs to be constantly moving.
Their favourite veggies are lettuce, cucumber & pepper. They must be fed veg every day so they get all the vitamins they need, you can google what they can and can’t have if you are unsure, as some veg is poisonous.
All I want is the girls to go to a good home. Where they will be very cared for and loved.
I wish I didn’t have to make this decision but unfortunately it has come to this.
