Description
BEA IS IN THE CARE OF LURCHER LINK RESCUE. Bea is a medium-sized lurcher of 24-25" to the shoulder. She came to us from the stray pound and was not microchipped so we do not know how old she is; but our best guess is that she is about 3-4 years old. Bea appears to be quite a confident dog. She wasn't at all phased when she first arrived at Lurcher Link Headquarters, which is unusual - most dogs find it rather overwhelming. Bea has just accepted everything and seems quite a happy girl. Bea is sharing a kennel with another (male) lurcher; but has shown herself to be quite bossy and also a bit possessive over food (so needs to be fed separately). Bea has a thick "kennel coat" which is taking some brushing out, so she's probably previously been kept outdoors and will need house training. Not tested with cats. Unknown how she would be around children. Bea is one of the lucky ones - we had room for her here at Lurcher Link Rescue when her time was up at the council stray pound. At the moment many unwanted stray dogs are being euthanized in the UK because there is no room for them in rescues, everywhere is full. DON'T BREED OR BUY WHILE THOUSANDS DIE; SAVE A LIFE - ADOPT.
