Delicate little lady looking for her forever home, currently in foster with me after my neighbours were unable to take her with them when they moved!
Gorgeous 3 year old saluki mix, incredibly sweet and gentle girlie.
Daphne has been with us for a couple of months now, but prior to this she was an outdoor dog so has led a very sheltered life! I can go more into detail about her history to any serious enquiries.
Daphne is currently living with 4 neutered males very happily, also gets on very well with my mums girls. Not keen on dominant bitches so for this reason would be best rehomed with another lady that’s more submissive/ a neutered male!
Now completely house trained, no accidents. Up to date with flea & worming. Although will need vaccinations/ neutering. I am a dog groomer so she’s well versed in being pampered now, good for the bath, dryer, nails & trimmings.
Incredibly playful so would love to be with another dog of a similar age/ younger that wants to rough and tumble aswell!
Also okay to be left, but has never been left without company before so cannot say how she’d do. I believe she’d be most suited to a home that already has a pooch.
Great with children, she visibly lights up when she sees my nephews. She adores them. Would be such a wonderful addition to a family home!
Good on/ off the lead, recall is okay and still improving, but always stay in your general vicinity. That being said she is still a sighthound and will give chase if something is to run!
Has met our cats and was a little overly interested, although didn’t chase. Could potentially be worked on with a dog savvy/ confident cat.
Has been in the car a handful of times and found it a bit unsettling so we’re working on this but the more she does the better she gets!
Will need a stable and consistent home to help her continue to blossom, with atleast one other dog! Located in Moorlinch, Nr Bridgwater (TA7)
