Description
Betty is a confident little girl who loves cuddles and belly rubs and likes to be the centre of attention. She loves to play with the toys that Santa brought. She house trained very quickly and will go out in the garden to clean herself and also on walks. She likes going for walks and walks well on the lead and is not phased by traffic noise. She went to the beach in the car the other day and loved the sand between her toes. She’s still apprehensive meeting new dogs out on walks so will need more socialising in that area. She plays well with her younger foster sibling who’s almost 4. They run round the house chasing each other. She loves to watch TV especially when Pete Wicks is on with his doggy program. She sleeps well, but likes to have a couple of treats in her bed before the lights go out. Through the day she likes sharing a bed or just going off and having some peace on her own. She gets very excited when food is being prepared and has a slow feeder at the moment.
When she first arrived she showed some snarling towards the 2 resident dogs and although she is completely fine now any prospective adopters should probably be made aware of this if there are other dogs in their home. She does truly love human company so will need a home where humans are home most of the time.
Her story
She was found in a field. We believe shortly after she was abandoned. She was tightened and confused. When our rescuer stopped to help her she jumped into her arms and said ‘yes please’
