PUZZLE MASTER is a good natured, easy child/disabled friendly, well-handled, all up to date ca. 12.2hh (& still growing) 3yo dream cob gelding.
Used to having shoes on & driving/ pulling a cart on busy roads.
Hence calm in traffic.
Owners, however, sadly neglected him. Hence ended up at the rescue.
Been such a delight for us.
Been great for our disabled helpers. Growing, bulking out & good height. But not a stocky weight carrier.
HALF-WAY THERE RIDE & DRIVE.
Ideal RIDING PONY PROJECT.
Maybe RDA LEAD REIN.
Great for a child, teen or petit adult.
Maybe of interest to SEN SCHOOL. Also THERAPY/PARTY PONY BUSINESS.
Presume easy to use for driving again.
When ready likely easy to back to ride.
Family likely able to do it themselves.
If no photos of him tacked up/ridden - it's just we don't start till age 4.
By then usually so safe, easy & well handled a kind child can do it.
Been through isolation period.
Had vet checks on arrival.
NO signs of sickness, laminitis, sweet itch, asthma, lumps or bumps etc.
GELDED (NOT LATE CUT.)
Not coltish at all.
Happy in or out in mixed herd.
Been great with mares/colts/geldings.
He was starved when he came so on some of the early photos was thin.
Had plenty grass since so fine now.
Unlike many cobs not been fat.
Nor had issues that come with that.
Microchipped & passported.
1st/2nd Flue & Tetanus vaccinations.
Shoes are off & good for farrier.
Feet trimmed every 6 weeks.
Well wormed & easy to worm.
Easy to catch (comes to whistle).
Super to tie up, stand, brush & wash.
Good to rug up, dress up & pleat.
Dream to load & travel.
Easy to pick all four feet.
Good for kids to walk everywhere. Fine alone or in company.
Not for profit.
Re-homing fee £1,200 as seen.
(A steal considering how many thousands good natured ride & drive cobs his size usually cost!)
Any money goes back into the project.
Person must be able to afford him &
Must also have a suitable place/livery yard or paddock to keep him ready.
