Hi this is Daxton
He’s 5 years old and his birthday is 21st of December.
It comes with a heavy heart that I’m having to re home him due to a change of circumstances with my job, unfortunately I can no longer give him the time he needs and I have exhausted every option since October last year.
Daxton is a very fit dog and he craves love and affection, he needs someone who works part time or who is retired or works from home, he loves to be sat in the same room as you even if it’s just lounged on the sofa.
He’s house trained and very well behaved he’s never chewed or damaged anything in the 5 years I’ve had him.
Daxton loves to play catch and he loves balls and sticks.
He walks well on and off the lead but loves a good sniff at every blade of grass, every lamppost and ever brick wall.
He’s good with children but I would strongly advise that if you have children that they be 8 years old plus, this is only because he jumps up and can be very over powering to kids when he gets a bit excited.
With other dogs he’s hit and miss, he seems to like little dogs more than big dogs and he’s very protective when on the lead, he doesn’t seem bothered about other dogs when he’s walking off his lead.
He’s never lived with cats so I wouldn’t know what he’s like with them.

I’m located in West Yorkshire and I won’t re home him outside of Yorkshire.
An agreement will be in place that if it doesn’t work out with his new owners then he will not be re homed he will come straight back to me.
All interested party’s will be vetted and I will want to do a home visit to see where he will be going.
