Meet Emily, a stunning adult dog who was saved from being put to sleep. She was mere minutes away from losing her life when a rescue stepped in to offer her a second chance. Emily’s past remains a mystery, but her uncropped ears and lack of sterilization may tell a story of hardship and neglect, hinting at a sad history that no dog should endure.
When Emily was rescued we found she was having puppies so 9 lives would have been lost.
At around 3/4 years old, Emily still has the energy and playfulness of a much younger dog. She loves to play, and nothing excites her more than a ball. Despite the trauma she’s endured, Emily is a joyful and social girl, full of life and eager for human companionship. She is currently with a Foster where she gave birth to 8 amazing puppies she was an excellent mother.
Sine her rescue she lived in ‘Emergency Boarding and now with a Foster. In both environments Emily lived and settled well with the humans and other dogs, showing how adaptable and affectionate she can be.
Unfortunately, due to the lack of background knowledge about her past, Emily is not suited to homes with children under 16. She has shown no aggression, but her size and the unknowns of her history make it essential that she is placed in a calm and understanding environment where she can continue to thrive.
Emily faced death in the eyes, and yet, her spirit remains unbroken. She is ready to move forward, to experience a life full of love, and to leave behind the fear that nearly cost her everything. Will you be the one to give her the life she deserves?
