Harris is a cheeky chappy who is now much more confident than when he first arrived on 11/5/24. He arrived as one of a pair in a neglect case and was in a bad way. Due to his neglect we would like to keep his history private - if you are interested in adopting him then we would of course fill you in. He enjoys celery, pepper, cucumber and romaine lettuce and will eat grass, although it isn't his favourite (he likes dandelions best). He won't yet let you stroke him in his cage and he is quick to catch, but once you are holding him he often settles down for a cuddle and will even have a little nap :) His favourite activity is headbutting his hideys where he wants them or just plain flipping them over! Harris was originally paired with another boar on arrival but they had to be separated due to excess dominance. Harris was the more submissive piggy, but in recent bonding attempts he has been more dominant - although the worst he did was hump a lot! We are looking for a home for him with another boar and owners who are confident in bonding piggies, or we are happy for him to live 'next door' to another boar so that they can see, sniff and hear each other. Google 'Merrypigs' for our adoption criteria!
