Currently have a set up of 14 hens, mostly silkies ranging from 2 to 4 years old. Looking to reduce numbers of the flock as struggling to find the time to care for them properly, (yes I feel terrible for it)!
Unfortunately some have scaley legs, treatment's on order so if they go, they'll need to initially be separated from your established flock at present.
Hens will only be rehomed to to those with secure enclosure and ability to come out and roam. Ideally I would like a picture of your set up as feel little conflicted rehoming, but its in their best interests.
If anyone is experienced and willing to take those with the Scaley Leg, I understand treatment and extra care will be required so they are FREE.
Initially reducing flock numbers rather than rehoming all. So we can discuss how many of them you want and images can be sent if interested.
