I need help rehoming Dexter, my 2-year-old Dobermann. I rehomed him myself last year and, despite my efforts, I can't manage his needs alongside my older dog's declining health.
He’s a really lovely, young healthy happy dog and with a strong experienced owner I think he’d really thrive but sadly I can’t keep him myself anymore. He loves other dogs, but unfortunately my other dog’s health is declining and he’ll no longer tolerate Dexter, which is causing stress and tension and isn’t fair to either of them. He’s really friendly with new people, knows basic commands (sit, paw, wait, leave), fully house-trained. Gets on really well with other dogs, not reactive at all.
This isn’t a decision I’ve reached lightly I feel awful but at this point it is my only option. If you think you could offer Dexter a suitable home, please contact me asap. Thank you.
