Bertie the little Beagle turned up in Helen’s neighbours' garden in Romania at the beginning of the summer. At first he was extremely frightened, clearly traumatised and no one could touch him.
Slowly but surely the real Bertie emerged, a jolly little clown who loves life and loves everyone he meets.
He has been socialised with four children aged 6 to 12. He's very comical, gets on fine with other dogs and is extremely playful and affectionate.
He can be a little reticent with strange people until he gets used to them, but then he is a loving and loyal dog.
He loves the car and travels beautifully and can’t wait to jump in and be co-pilot. He walks well on a lead too.

ADOPTION CRITERIA - PLEASE READ BEFORE APPLYING
❇️ Minimum age for adopters is 25
❇️ A successful home check is required
❇️ The adoption donation is £450
❇️ We do not rehome our dogs in flats/apartments unless ground floor with own private garden
❇️ Children above the age of 6 who are dog savvy
❇️ A fully secure garden with at least 5’ fences/boundaries is required
❇️ If working, no more than 4 hours absence at any one time
