Ophelia, affectionately known as ‘fifi’, is a chocolate and tan coloured dachshund puppy of 10 months old (born May 15th 2024). She has already been microchipped. She is well behaved, very intelligent and quick to learn commands and cues, potty-trained and leash-trained. She is absolutely amazing to walk, and doesn’t pull, or get distracted by smells or other people. Best of all, she is a huge snuggle bug and loves to nap on the family when she can. She’s also crate-trained, and will run into her crate on her own simply by rattling the packet of her favourite treat (dried duck) that she gets before bed, every single night. It’s her favourite routine and she’ll be quiet and content for the rest of the night with a handful of her toys. She also absolutely loves to play tug of war and fetch, and will drop her favourite bunny toy in your lap or at your feet, and will stare at you patiently until you throw it for her. She really is such a lovely girl and very affectionate, with a character I would describe as ‘velcro’ because she sticks by my ankles like no other. It really is no fault of her own that I’m having to let her go, but squarely mine. Unfortunately, I’m moving away for school, and cannot take her with me.
Ophelia will come with all her toys, any food and treats she has left at the time of pick up, her harness and matching leash, nail clippers, blanket and dog crate, and her brand new doggy push pram (and rain cover).
