He is quite anxious when leaving the house for his daily walks so does cry/pull butonce he is where he knows he's going he is like a completely different dog. He settles immediately and just wants to play with his ball/frisbee. When there are no dogs close by he will walk off lead and stays close by constantly checking to see if you're still there. The short time he can be a difficult is more than made up for by all of the love and happiness he has to give when he has his ball outside or is relaxing at home. He is reactive to other dogs in close proximity (not dog aggressive) but i can usually get him to sit down if i pull him to one side out of the way and settle him that way, then he chills out straight after.
He’s at his best on a big field where he can be tired out from having his ball thrown for him. I don’t let him off his lead when other dogs are close by to avoid any potential conflict, so ideally someone with no other pets would be perfect. He’s very good with people, but because he is very excitable when people come home ideally no small kids for them potentially getting knocked over or hurt just because of his size.
