Trixie is a very small-medium sized in everything except her ears (which we don’t think she’s ever going to grow into!). She was found on the streets as a small puppy and taken to the shelter of the lady we work with in Romania. It is a small shelter where the dogs all get lots of attention and live in small sociable groups …very much like what we do with our dogs here in Scotland.
Trixie is a lovely natured dog who has been fabulous with all the other dogs she has met here and she’s very sociable with the volunteers. Once she overcomes her initial shyness, she just loves to play chase and have snuggles in equal measures.
Trixie is not currently spayed as she has not yet had her first season, and we would advise this be done three months after this. Trixie has done some lead work in Romania and, although it was only in a rural area, she did very well! She is crate-trained and has been clean in the house here ever since she arrived. She has had all her relevant tests in Romania, but we will do a UK brucellosis test before she leaves us too.
