Meet Sophie: A Gentle Giant in Need of a Loving Home
Age: 18 months
Sophie’s story is one of heart-wrenching tragedy. Abandoned in a dry, arid environment, she was brutally starved and left without food or water, cruelly abandoned to die alone. When she was finally rescued, Sophie was so weak she could barely stand. Terrified and trembling, she had lost all hope of being saved and was on the brink of despair.
Now, thanks to the compassion of loving individuals, Sophie is receiving the care she desperately needs and is ready to find her forever home.
Despite her large size, Mastins like Sophie are known for their gentle and calm nature, making them excellent companions. She is sociable with all people and has a sweet disposition that will win over anyone’s heart. Although Sophie needs a family with calm, older children, she’s very friendly, loves to play, and enjoys long walks. She is also toilet trained and is learning to walk nicely on a lead, though she may need a bit of additional training.
Sophie is currently receiving veterinary care to ensure she’s healthy and at a proper weight before traveling to her new home. She is not food dominant and gets along well with other dogs, making her a great addition to any family.
We are looking for a kind and loving home where Sophie can feel safe and cherished after her traumatic experience. If you’re ready to open your heart and home to this beautiful, loving girl, please consider adopting Sophie. She deserves a chance to live the happy life she’s always dreamed of!
We are “H4P” a Spanish and UK rescue. We rescue dogs from kill shelters and rehome them here in the UK. Adoption fees vary depending on the urgency of the adoption. Each dog can be reserved with a further £100 deposit £395 total . Payment plans are available upon request. All our dogs come neutered, fully vaccinated, health checked, flea’d and wormed.
