❤️MINNIE NEEDS A HOME❤️
Minnie is 2 years old and a large shepherd mix from Macedonia. She was found abandoned in a field in the pouring rain with her sisters before she was adopted as a pup. She was returned to us a while ago and the dog we received was not the dog described to us. We’ve spent some time getting to know her with the help of our team at the kennels. This weekend she made a new friend in Sarah who has been feeding her sausages through the bars and finally had their first walk together!
Minnie is a nervous girl to start with. She needs a confident and patient family who will allow her to make friends at her pace. Once she makes friends she loves to play and gets excited to say hello.
Minnie knows some basic commands such as sit, lay down and paw. She is good on the lead but is a bit nervous of the world around her and can be scared by noises. She’s made friends now so that the kennel team are able to give her belly rubs which she loves! They have worked very hard to earn her trust and are seeing her sweet side underneath all her worries after taking things slowly with her.
Minnie seems to be more scared of men and needs her primary owner to be female. She hasn’t lived with another dog before but we can dog test her. She used to love playing tuggy through the kennels with her neighbour Ralph who left us not long ago.
Minnie is showing more and more confidence day by day with the help of her kennel friends and we are looking for an experienced, adult only home for her with lots of patients and understanding.
Minnie is:

❤️good on lead but can be scared by noises
