14th July 2024 Last week, we were heartbroken thinking that Jerry had only 7 days left to find a forever home before he faced euthanasia. Thanks to our dedicated team and supporters, we’ve managed to secure him a few more weeks. Jerry is safe for now, but this precious time is fleeting. Two of our devoted volunteers visited Jerry recently, and he stole their hearts all over again. He was overjoyed to see them, wagging his tail and showing signs of recognition from his kennel days. Jerry is a beautiful soul with a background in TV and film training, making him a pro at following commands. He's a confident dog, yet sometimes finds himself feeling scared. He can be a bit stubborn when it's time to leave his kennel, but he has formed a deep, trusting bond with one of the staff members, doing anything she asks of him. Life in a kennel isn't right for Jerry; he needs a loving home with a single person or a couple experienced with larger dogs (though he’s not that big) to help him thrive and build a loving relationship. Jerry is currently in the Aylesbury area and will need several visits to get comfortable. We believe there is a perfect home for every dog; sometimes it just takes a bit more searching to find it.
