Absolutely gutted to be writing this, but Cairo, my rescue python is unfortunately in need of a new home.
I’m currently out of work due to injury and having to move away where I’m unable to bring him with me.
I’m absolutely heartbroken but have no choice.
I would like Cairo to go to somebody who has kept reptiles/exotics for a number of years and will take good care of him.
His set up is a 4x2.5 vivarium as he becomes very stressed in anything bigger.
Incredible eater, and very cautious about his strike.
Can be hissy when handled but never ever so much as maliciously moved in my direction, he needs somebody experienced who isn’t afraid to work to gain his trust.
Feeds on xl rats, eats chicks and would most likely eat other food items no trouble.
Has been used as an educational animal and coped very well, however, I would rather him go to a hobbyist or family who will love him for the rest of his lifetime.
If possible, I would like to enquire to have him back, when I’m back on my feet, but if I know he is well loved - this isn’t essential.
I would like him to be taken with his set up. He is *not for sale* but I ask a rehoming fee to ensure he will be looked after.
