Here is my beautiful Rex, this is an incredibly hard sell for me so please dont be offended if I ask lots of questions.
I bought Rex 6 months ago from what was apparently a well informed reptile shop? I bought the viv, equipment, all the vitamins and everything he needed. However, I have found out through reaching out to more reliable sources, that everything I was told was wrong and that my viv is too small, he doesn’t have the right heating and he also needs uvb lighting as well. I was also supplied all the wrong supplements as well but I have bought all the right ones for him now. However, I am not in a position to buy a new vivarium for him, he needs at least a 3ft and not the 2ft I was told was fine. I’m also not able to afford the correct lightening and heating for him as he currently has a heat Matt and thermostat. And he will need a deep heat projector. I know the best thing for Rex is to find him a home to someone who can give him the things he needs, I tried my best but I feel like I am failing him. He is the most amazing gecko, so so friendly, loves being handled and loves head rubs. He loves his food!! And sheds perfectly everytime. Whoever has him will be very lucky to have him and I hope he will be loved as much as he is now.
I am asking for £80 rejoining fee, this is because Rex alone cost me quite a lot of money due to his morph although I doubt that was even true now. Plus the money I paid for his Viv, heat mat, thermostat and everything else he needed, all of this will be supplied with Rex.
