Description

Meet Hawk! Hawk is my beloved leopard gecko that I rescued circa 2019. I was told that Hawk is a female, and was also estimated to be 5 years old - making her roughly 10 years old today. I of course cannot confirm this information and she has not been professionally sexed, so do take that with a grain of salt! Either way, Hawk is the sweetest, most easy-natured Leo and I love her with my entire heart. Unfortunately, I am experiencing financial difficulties that are making it near impossible to provide the proper care and welfare that my reptile babies deserve. I am making the extremely difficult decision to rehome Hawk (& my two snakes) to somewhere she can receive the best standard of care I am no longer able to provide. Hawk will come with a 3FT wooden vivarium (purchased secondhand so it is a little imperfect, but still serves its purpose!), with all electrics installed. Her current setup includes: -Arcadia Deep Heat Projector -Microclimate Dimmer Thermostat -Arcadia ShadeDweller MiniT5 UVB kit (*the bulb for this has just recently expired so whilst it does still work for a day/night cycle, it is not outputting the correct D3 levels and will need replacing*) -Digital Thermometer -4x hides -water dish and mealworm dish -Plant and stick decor I will clean out her viv prior to rehoming so substrate is unfortunately not included, but I have been using Arcadia Earthmix Arid which she seems to be thriving on. In terms of diet, Hawk’s favourite foods are dubia roaches and waxworms, though she also regularly gets mealworms, morio worms, crickets and locusts. I dust her food with calcium and multivitamin supplements, although these have also just recently expired so these will also need to be purchased separately. It is absolutely crucial to me that Hawk goes to a home where she will be able to live out the rest of her life without the stress of being rehomed again. For this reason, I am asking that prospective owners are well-researched and are above the age of 18. Bonus points if you have prior reptile experience! Whilst I do not want to profit from the difficult decision of rehoming my reptiles, the fee is largely to cover the cost of supplies and because reptiles are, of course, a long-term financial commitment whether purchased for free or not. If you would like to know more about Hawk and/or are interested in offering her a loving home, please send me a message! :)
