๐ถ CRUZ's life has been marked by hardship, but also by love. He was found abandoned and tired to bench on the street with a heartbreaking note attached to his collar:
"Forgive me, I have nothing left to feed him."
A kind volunteer, a single woman devoted to rescuing animals, took him and gave him the love and care he desperately needed. For a year, she was his everythingโhis safety, his warmth, his world. But tragedy struck again. The woman who saved CRUZ (and many other dogs) was diagnosed with cancer. Even in her final days, she made sure her beloved dogs would not be left behind. She contacted the rescue, sharing her dogs stories and begging for them to find loving homes. CRUZ is now waiting for his second chanceโthe home his rescuer wished for him.

๐ถ CRUZ is an incredibly loving and devoted companion once he trusts you. He may need a little time to warm up to new people, but after a short time he starts leaning in for cuddles and sweet kisses. His gentle, soulful eyes tell a story of resilience and hope, and he is eager to find someone who will love him forever.
๐ถ CRUZ is calm, well-mannered, and thrives in a peaceful home. He loves to be close to his humans, following them around quietly, simply enjoying their presence.
