Description

Beautiful interesting pets for all I am doing collection only at the moment . As its cold its not fair on them being posted as they are tropical animals We have various sizes approximately 1cm to 3 cms I will supply a new takeaway box which can be used for a short time if you haven't got a setup, smaller ones will be best for this They will grow to a good 6 inch shell size. There basic care includes Cage: -Can be a plastic vivarium not too high with heat mat on side for cooler months tto ensure steady temperature -and having a thermometer and hydrometer can help keep the environment steady -substrate , you can get land snail soil or coco fiber is easy and comes in a dehydrated brik from reptile section at most pet shops and you should have the snails shell length plus an inch of substrate and snail moss -You need a cuttlefish for calcium you can also get from the bird section from pet shops. Other things like plants moss and leaf litter can be added to Diet: -variety of veg and fruit as treat -protein I such as snail protein mix from ebay etc and feed once a week -calcium eg cuttlefish in cage at all times General care: -Spray cage with water to keep humidity up -turn over substrate weekly so it is easy to burrow and check for eggs as snails are hermaphrodites so can produce fertile eggs by themselves -these snails need around 20°-22° temperature and 70%-80% humidity
