Lulu is originally from Romania and is currently in foster with her sister Lily (who has been adopted) in East Yorkshire.
Lulu and her sisters seem to most closely resemble a breed called a Hungarian Mudi, working type dogs, so Lulu will do great in an active home and with plenty of mental stimulation, although she also enjoys quiet time. Her sister Lily was adopted in early January 2024 and is doing great at training classes.
Lulu is living happily with teenagers, she doesn't like noisy small children.
She is fully vaccinated, spayed and weighs 13-15kg.
She could potentially live with another dog because she gains confidence when out on walks from being with Lily. However she's had a few spats with her sister (quite common with female siblings). So perhaps a calm but confident male dog would suit her better, after careful introductions.
There is a cat at home, but Lulu will chase and become obsessive trying to find her. So NO cats.
Lulu can be left for short periods so any adopter will need the flexibility to be able to build up her time left alone. She would benefit from training classes. Lulu is a very affectionate dog and will make a fantastic companion for someone willing to spend time training her and meeting her needs.
Someone that can run with her or do canicross etc would be a bonus.
