Description
Scamp is a small dog (not much bigger than a cat; weighs 7.5 kg) of approximately 6-7 years old (estimate). He is a happy and confident little thing, whose tail doesn't stop wagging, rather enthusiastically! He is excellent with all people and very cuddly. In spite of his age, he is fit and full of energy. Neutered, vaccinated and microchipped.
To summarise: what you will be getting is a small dog that is very cute, affectionate, happy, very friendly with all people. A dog that will not bark at your visitors or be shy with them. In fact, he will charm everyone he meets.
A dog that has no issues in the house (fully toilet trained) and is happy to chill on the sofa or in the garden where he is busy inspecting the comings and goings of wildlife.
A dog that will not chew nor dig nor bark in the garden. A dog that can be left alone for a few hours with no separation anxiety and has no guarding issues with his food or anything else. A dog that will accept dogs in his space (his home) and can socialise well with other dogs after brief introductions. He travels well in the car and eagerly jumps in.
What you would need to work on is his reactivity to other dogs during the walk. He loves his walks but you must be willing to go at his own pace on this and to follow advice from positive training experts. In the time he has been with us he is already a lot better so we think it is an adjustment period. He is not reactive to cars, runners or bicycles. Must have a secure and good sized garden. You must be no more than 70yrs of age and in good health.
