This beautiful boy is appx 3 years old and is a mixed breed rescue dog from Spain.
He was adopted by his family however due to very sad circumstances the family unit cannot stay together.
Indie needs a new home and family. He is fully vaccinated, micro chipped, neutered and has a EU passport.
He has come on leaps and bounds since he arrived from Spain and gets admiring glances and conversations from other doggie parents.
Indie probably has some type of hound in his genetics as he has a scent drive.
On meeting new people he may bark at a first meeting, but if ignored, he will settle.
He likes to sniff and will then accept a pat.
Indie is used to using a crate as - this is his safe place and he chooses to sleep in his crate for naps. (Although if given the chance, he would sleep on your bed).
He needs a bit more work on the lead and he loves to jump 😂 It's a must that he has a secure garden.
Indie does sit, stay, down and leave.
Indie is good with other dogs. He has slotted in with friends’ dogs.
He loves to play so would love an active family who can use walks and enrichment to give him his best life. He loves to playing tug and would relish sniff/scent play.
Sadly this beautiful boy is scared of anything pole like. Sticks/poles - he's always been scared of anything resembling a stick, so will run off if you are using a broom or bark if he sees an umbrella.
He has been running and would settle to run beside you.
Although he is active, he likes flopping in evenings and lying at your feet.
Indie can be rehomed with older children or teenagers who understand dogs.
He cannot be homed with a cat or any other small furries. He has been known to selectively want to chase.
