Nissi is a beautiful family dog. She loves walks, cuddles, treats and to be with people.
Nissi has been around children for the time we have had her (5 years). She is very patient, calm and a genuinely beautiful dog willing to please. It’s very rare that you will hear anything from Nissi however given the chance will have a good husky chat with you.
Nissi is happy to lay on her bed and sleep or be catching the sun rays in the garden. She really is the perfect family dog. Fully house trained. Knows basic commands, sit, paw, spins to say please, lay down, bed and even wait when you put food down for her until said to go ahead and eat.
Unfortunately due to no fault of her own, we are having to look for a permanent home for her that can give her the daily walks, attention and love that she deserves. Our family has a big overseas move and due to some circumstances it has meant that we cannot take her along with us. We also came to the decision that due to a decline in my physical health and no longer having the time to do basic things for Nissi, it is what is best for her. We have explored other avenues, this being our final decision to rehome her, sadly we do not have the extended family help and it is unfair for us to expect anyone else to have her. Therefore we have made the decision to look for a new home that can give her everything and more that she deserves.
Only 2 challenges that nissi displays is that she likes to escape if given the chance, so will bolt if a door is left open giving her the chance to run, she feels it’s a game and will just run the estate, so can not be let off a lead as she does not have recall however, if given time and dedication for training her recall, this can be worked on.
Nissi is great with other dogs she has been properly introduced too, although, She also is a little lead reactive, not with all dogs but if she feels anxious around any coming towards her then she will react vocally, again this can be worked on with training and time, otherwise she walks well.
